Connect 2008

We are moving to an exciting period in our Parish's life with our 9 days of outreach in February, entitled "Connect" as we seek to connect people with the good news of Jesus Christ and connect one another in fellowship.

Many events and services are planned for the 16-24 February and details are online. We are delighted that Roger Murphy is our evangelist, ably supported by Paul Hoey [CPAS] and John O'Neill and Karen Webb who will have responsibility for the children's work. We look forward to our own parishioners planning the witness and supporting it. It is all backed up with prayer.

In terms of preparation for the outreach, 50 adults have participated in the Lost for Words Course by CPAS which has as its slogan, "Sharing faith naturally". In January there will be prayer ministry training with Rev Pat Mollan.

These are exciting times under the Lord's leading. We pray that we will be fervent in our desire to honour the Lord in these days and see Him touching lives.
