Strolling The Golf Green, Obtaining The Ideal Golf Pull Cart

When you are trying to claim playing golf as part of your everyday exercise then you will need a golf pull cart. Lightweight and collapsible golf pull carts are an effortless way to transport the heavy clubs while allowing you to walk the course rather than riding around in a motorized golf carts.

Renting a golf cart every trip can get extremely costly, no matter if it is motorized or not. Although it would be impractical for most to possess a riding golf cart, golf pull carts on the other hand can fold up properly in your trunk and you can take them along with you every trip to the golf course and never have to rent a golf cart again.

Amongst golf pull carts you have a lot of possible choices in style, color as well as wheel size. The smaller sized wheeled carts run better on paved walk ways and can be easier to drag around on level ground, while the broader wheeled carts can manage the rough stuff better. If you would like to walk the course but still experience trouble moving the pull cart now you have the option of getting a pull cart equipped with an electric motor inside of it to allow it to cruise around by remote control.

You continue to get the particular benefit of walking the golf course, while not having to transport those heavy golf equipment. The very draw back is that a motorized cart can be very high-priced. A traditional golf pull cart might cost approximately $50 to $70 depending upon the make and model you buy. A motor-driven model could cost as much as $2,000 or even more. This makes the motorized pull carts to be a rather expensive luxury that most can not pay for.

Regardless of what type of cart suits your budget if you want to stroll a golf course, you need a golf pull cart.

Augusta and Aiken in Golf's Golden Age (Images of Sports Series)

Augusta and Aiken in Golf's Golden Age (Images of Sports Series)

$4.24

The game of golf got its start in the Southeastern United States in 1892 on four holes with sand greens at Palmetto Golf Club in Aiken, South Carolina. Within five years, Palmetto had expanded to eighteen holes and the first nine-hole course in neighboring Augusta, Georgia was designed at the Hotel Bon Air. For half a century, the Augusta-Aiken area flourished as the winter destination of choice for the rich, famous, and powerful in America. Presidents Taft, Harding, and Eisenhower vacationed here. Baseball great Ty Cobb bought a home in Augusta's quaint Summerville neighborhood. It was here that Bobby Jones began the improbable journey towards a Grand Slam, then built his dream golf course. By the turn of the century, winter tourism and grand resort hotels in the Augusta-Aiken area were well established. A favorable winter climate and easy rail access drew vacationers to Highland Park Hotel (1866), Willcox Hotel (1898), and Park in the Pines (1900) in Aiken; Hotel Bon Air (1890) and Partridge Inn (1913) in Augusta; and Hampton Terrace Hotel and Golf Club (1903) in North Augusta. Resorts in Florida and the growth of the air travel industry later coupled to mark the area's decline in winter tourism, but not before Augusta-Aiken's place in golf history was secure. In this unique volume, vintage images and accompanying text recall the unfo rgettable legends, the meticulously maintained courses, and all of the grandeur associated with the game.
