Hundred in the Hand $16.95 Seeking to complete the compelling story of the American West, best-selling Lakota author Joseph Marshall brings a new slant to the traditional Western: historical fiction written from the Native American viewpoint. The first novel in this new series, Hundred in the Hand, takes place during the Battle of the Hundred in the Hand, otherwise known as the Fetterman Massacre of 1866, which was an important victory for the Lakota and a turning point for both sides. The story is told through the eyes of Cloud, a dedicated and able warrior who fought alongside a young Crazy Horse. Beautifully written and reminiscent of the oral tradition, Hundred in the Hand brings a new depth to the story of the battle and the history of the Lakota people. |

It Is A Feast For The Brain, And Because It Is One Of The Cheapest Books Around, A Joy For Your Wallet Too.
Do the cheapest books suck? Sometimes. Do expensive books suck? Sometimes Is a book going to be awesome just because you buy a book from a famous author. In fact some of the cheapest books from unknown authors can be a million times better than from famous writers.
Creator by M. A. Hills is one of the cheapest books, and one of the best. If you don't like a book like this you certainly won’t go broke, so how could you go wrong.
I think any one might like this book. The story takes place in antiquity: the pagan Olympia gods send their version of Jesus to earth at the time Jesus is born, but they have no plans for the pagan saviour, and he gets into some real trouble: getting raised by a terrorist, and being taught to lie and be evil.
This story is wacky in a good way. Its quite crazy. But it is profound. It is also incredibly entertaining too, and original, and inspirational. And the undeniable bonus is that it really is one of the cheapest books around.
In my opinion this could be an expensive book. I’d would pay a lot more for it.
Creator is not a book for the closed minded. Is it mainstream, for mainstream readers? Probably not I think it does appeal to an alternative crowd, to people who are at the brink of waking up, of becoming enlightened.
But there is a strong linear storyline that is highly entertaining. The story is funny, in a dark way, and exciting, with a lot of good old fashioned twists and turns with a climatic ending, it is epic! But Creator offers way more than what appears to be on the surface. It goes way beyond into the realm of mythical literature, of double meanings, and deep symbolism.
Because it is one of the cheapest books around, a joy for your wallet, and a feast for your brain. Considering the price, Creator has it all, and more.
Don't be blinded by a book price. The cheapest books might very well be the best read of your life! Brave readers unite, and buy cheap books!

Regier, The Chronicle Review"No effort has been spared to make these little volumes as attractive as possible to readers: the paper is of high quality, the typesetting immaculate. The founders of the series are John and Jennifer Clay, and Sanskritists can only thank them for an initiative intended to make the classics of an ancient Indian language accessible to a modern international audience." —The Times Higher Education Supplement"The Clay Sanskrit Library represents one of the most admirable publishing projects now afoot. . . . Anyone who loves the look and feel and heft of books will delight in these elegant little volumes." —New Criterion"Published in the geek-chic format." —BookForum"Very few collections of Sanskrit deep enough for research are housed anywhere in North America. Now, twenty-five hundred years after the death of Shakyamuni Buddha, the ambitious Clay Sanskrit Library may remedy this state of affairs." —Tricycle"Now an ambitious new publishing project, the Clay Sanskrit Library brings together leading Sanskrit translators and scholars of Indology from around the world to celebrate in translating the beauty and range of classical Sanskrit literature. . . .
